Speaker 2:

Welcome everyone. After this good presentation, this is gonna be my new intro. I hope you guys enjoy this new intro. It's gonna be around. I'm original, so I made it myself. This is a response of this copyright thing Like all these content creators have to deal with. I'm gonna play the guitar. I just did it. For me, the guitar is like a pencil.

Speaker 2:

And my studio is like a paper, so I was able to. I did it today. Today is Sunday. Here in Australia, sunday is the 10th of December 2023. Remember that day and I decided to sing on top of the thing.

Speaker 1:

So welcome to my show.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so I made this one. And I'm just going to introduce you guys with the other one. I'm just gonna leave that one just to talk Like background music, and this is the other one.

Speaker 3:

So have a listen, this is gonna be my day and no one's gonna take him from me. Breathe in, breathe out and enjoy your day.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that was the second one, so you guys can choose, but I'm just gonna leave the other one on the background. I'm recording today and Sunday. I'm just gonna post it right after I finished. Yeah, today I just wanted to talk about, I just wanted to catch up with things With you guys. It's been a long time I've been putting my head into another project which I'm going to release on the next Saturday. So, yeah, it's gonna be fun and I'm just gonna record this episode. And after this episode on, let's say, wednesday, I'm going to release like a pick episode. So you guys can imagine how I met this person, that I'm going to be with that person on Saturday, just to start. That will be the start of a new project.

Speaker 2:

So today I just wanted to talk about how you guys have ever had the experience of being in a public, let's say in discotheque. I don't know how you call it in your country. Here in Australia we call it pubs or bars or clubs. They say In South America we call it discotheques. Everything is like a discotheque, and the other ones we just call it like convenience stores, like places where you can have a drink and stuff. But today I'm just going to talk about my experience through the night Right, and this time because it's been this is like a personal thing that I haven't drank alcohol for a couple of months and now I decided to do it. Just before you start thinking over there Like, oh, maybe this guy has like an issue, but no, I don't have any issues with the alcohol. It was a thing more related with my well-being Right in that issue.

Speaker 1:

So I just decided to.

Speaker 2:

Yeah let's just have a break and I just did it and, yeah, it's been great. I'm telling you guys, I just make myself comfortable Got my cat while the cat is here with me tonight, he's alright, I'm just gonna post a picture of the cat at the end of this episode. You guys want to see it, and His name is Milo, or Milo. Milo in Spanish, milo, milo in English. Milo, like the drink, you know, like the pattern, like the chocolate famous in Australia, and we didn't know actually about this because we in in South America we call it Milo, and when I get here to Australia then I was in a break and then Someone's saying like, oh, let's have Milo During the break.

Speaker 2:

It was winter and you know it's good to have Milo or winter, and it's something. This is make me, you know, laugh because I just think about my cat. But yeah, so, and I was like what's what? What is Milo? What do you? What are you referring to? What are you saying about Milo? Like what is it Milo? Is it drink? It's like a Chocolate, like a chocolate pattern. I'm like I Don't know what, you see, when I saw the green thing, like it is, he has a. I think it's a universal. He has a green label and then we're like oh, okay, this is. Ah, I call it Milo. Oh, but it's the same thing, right? So yeah, I'm gonna post a cat, a picture of the cat at the end of this episode and I can't do that actually right now.

Speaker 2:

Why not? It's not life, but let's do it right now. And, yes, no, no issues with with the alcohol. So, and my experience Is being great. I'm telling you guys and just taking the picture, I know there you go, so the experience has been great. So, essentially, I just want to talk about. It was like I don't, I don't know, probably the last two times I went outside and you can see the, the night has different, like, let's say, colors or stages. The school is stages to be more, you know, to simplify things. So, and then let's think about this first stage. Like you start, like when you get in a bar, and, and so what you guys think is the first stage. Think about it.

Speaker 2:

I'm posting the picture of the Milo. Yeah, I'm back. Keep, I'm just gonna keep. I like that thing because it's a loop and it goes. You know, I Don't need to talk. You can, guys. And relaxing here I don't know if you guys over there, I thought I hope you guys are relaxing as well. So let's, let me just finish posting this and just keep talking. That's what it's about. Now we're going to combine these All right, yeah, done so pictures on the Instagram.

Speaker 2:

And now let me take the advantage to sponsor myself. So these projects come in, sponsored by George podcast on Instagram. I gonna need a sponsor. Truly, I don't know. We we get a mentioned front, one of these websites. I need to have a look because I forgot Recently on trend.

Speaker 2:

Threats is the thing is like it's. It's like Now they change your name. Right, we used to call it Twitter, now is X, something like that. I don't know if this X means Something, I'm not sure, or if, speakers, you can just watch explicit content, which I Didn't know, that that Twitter, that you can watch stuff like that on Twitter. And until someone told me like, yeah, like well, that's not possible. Then, yeah, people use it like just to, you know, to Just to have fun and watch, watch explicit content. And I went like I won't believe you. And then, yeah, now that, oh, maybe that's why now is is called X. I don't know, but this is threats. So we have mentioned front, these guys Like there you go, is called cherry glad men, cherry, cherry, cherry glad men, thank you.

Speaker 2:

And he said great, australian Podcast directory recently featured. Then is and we are here In this website. Thank you very much Thank you for the mentioned and I just mentioned you guys back here this podcast, and there's a lot of. You can see Valorne, it is like in the second one, in the second row. That Makes me proud, right, because I'm just here recording, and the other one is all.

Speaker 2:

Let me have a look here at the movies with Charlotte and brown and brown. We got Madonna conversation with Madonna. We got the pony podcast. I mentioned all these guys. Maybe I've met them some some day.

Speaker 2:

Never know what's this growth Banta, I don't know. Blake, good on you. Be well with Neil Neil, neil, neil Neil, good on you. Finding alpha, finding alpha women like us. Practical permaculture, permaculture, I don't know what this means. You guys can go have a look. Christmas crackers, christmas crackers sponsored by. You know that sounds nice.

Speaker 2:

Future learners, a future learner, mitchell Johnson, a cricket show Well, nice cricket, that's it. Are you guys enjoying cricket? I used to work for in a cricket, inside a cricket Field, but yeah, it's gonna be for a different, for another podcast. Yeah, so this, this is the end of my, let's say, social, social networking of today. Yeah, so I was in the bar, let's, let's go back to the bar and Then the first stage right. So the first stage in a bar is, like people, I think the first stage will be dinner. Right For everyone. I think, unless you, you have, you have dinner, at home dinner, and then you go to the pub or to the bar, whatever Well, let's say dinner, and then you order. Right now in Australia, I think everyone like in the around the world you can just go and you can just go in this on the tables.

Speaker 2:

That's. That's a COVID thing, right? Covid has brought a lot of technology, but now with the COVID, you got these QR codes that you can just scan it and you know. Then you Jump into a website and you just choose whatever you want to eat or drink. That's it, easy, easy, peasy. All right, yep, they got friends in there. Ah, that one. But yeah, let's mention the place. Yeah, I'd like to go to a place called Haula Haula. I got a friend who was making fun of me.

Speaker 2:

I don't know if that's the right accent, but it's like how, haula, haula, like, how are you? It's H-H, all the Americans H. In Australia we say H, yeah, h-o-w-l-e-r, so Haula. And he means something about surf. You can, guys, google it. My friend, he just went quickly and Google it. Hold on a second. Yeah, he just went and Google it and he was like, oh, what was that? Oh, and he just looked at it and was like, oh, this is like about surfing and something like that. Yes, I think it's something about the ocean waves. So you guys, if you're interested, you can go and Google it and yeah.

Speaker 2:

So, yeah, that place is. Is I like that place? It's, I think. I think everyone has a place like where your style or your other people like there's a bunch of people who like to go to that specific place and everyone is like not the same because you know, we're different but we have like, similar, like, like.

Speaker 2:

I believe, though, the people like, go in, they have this similar, like a similar taste in. You know, in a good way. You know, because we are, as I was saying, we're not the same, but yeah, so that place has a big garden, like you call it here in Australia beer, like a beer, beer garden, beer garden. A beer garden is is a garden where you get plants in there. Plants, plants Pardon me my accent but yeah, vegetation, plants let's say I'm gonna say plants and I'm gonna give and, yeah, you got beautiful plants in there and also I can be a fan of my accent, by the way, right, I don't care so, yeah, beautiful plants. And then there's the DJ. There's the DJ, like the DJ stage, let's say like a small one, and the DJ is there.

Speaker 2:

So, if you guys have the chance, that's in Brunswick, here in Melbourne, melbourne. So if you guys have the chance I don't know why I'm repeating myself today, but okay, the chance to go. So you get to the, you guys go to the beer garden and then I'm gonna be there next to the DJ, and I've been doing that for maybe two weekends and it's been great. So I'm making relationships with the DJs and because I'm, you know, I you guys can see on my Instagram like I'm learning, learning process. So I just go there and have a look. I'm just looking at the, you know, the DJ controller, you know looking at the sound, and last time the guy went like it's everything all right like the sound.

Speaker 2:

I went like, no, that one is a little bit down. Which one? The speaker over there, the PA, you know, the guy went like, oh really, I think they have like a master PA and I'm like, yeah, the guy was playing bossa nova. John, very, very good guy. I mentioned him, I'll, probably he was. He was a good DJ, he was playing with finals, so different. So he's like an analogic, like analog music, if you're gonna call it like that. And then we had the digital DJs. He was playing finals, very good bossa nova.

Speaker 2:

I think this one, the things I got in the background sounds a little bit like bossa nova, even the chords, some of the chords, you can play them bossa nova. And yeah, talking about bossa nova, yeah, he was good, pretty good man and we couldn't. He just invited me to another, because all the playhouses be garden and then a bar and then a theta or a theta inside and in a theta. In a theta they have, or in the stage. This is a stage, a bigger, bigger stage, and they have presentations of you know local bands or gigs, or like the main event is inside there.

Speaker 2:

So yeah, I'll pay. The thing was like Latin American, the venue, the band was. It's a project called El Gran Mono, the Gran Mono El Gran Mono in Spanish and then it's a mixture of guys from Brazil and Colombia and then playing, they were good, they were very good. So if you guys have the chance to go to that show, it's a really good show and I enjoyed it. Then they play with the audience, with the public, so they make it like a circle and I think they dance capoeira, capoeira, capoeira, which is like a martial arts, but they can dance and make these movements. It's very nice and they use, I think, the point of that.

Speaker 2:

At the beginning of the show they had like these big speakers. They sound like, like in the small towns of Colombia, for instance, if you go there I don't know in Brazil, probably someone from Brazil, I don't know if they have the same culture, the same thing, but in the small towns there's these big speakers. They call it Picor or Picol. I was talking with a French person and I was saying and she went like, oh no, it's a Picol, okay, picol, whatever, it's a big speaker and it sounds really loud and that's the way that it is right. It's not like a good quality, but that's the atmosphere, so it has to be loud, right, with the gain, all the gain up, and that's it, and that's the way people enjoyed it. That's the thing, right, and there was like a tower of those things, like a bundle yeah, beautiful, they're beautiful.

Speaker 2:

Got stories. I don't know, I didn't. I don't know if I have but the grant, just looking at you can go to a grant, mono, whatever. I don't know if they have social media, but you will be able to find it if you're interesting. And yeah, so they were playing music like typical music from Colombia, like Vaginato, for instance. Vaginato is they use accordion and percussions and, yeah, very slow, like really from the villages of Colombia. So, yeah, it reminds me of the and I went up posted on my Instagram. My friends started like, wow, what are you doing? What's this? Like how this music is playing in Melbourne, in Melbourne, like, how can I? I was like I never, I never thought it like I was able to listen to those diabetos, the name of the band, the obelitus Olochiches in Melbourne.

Speaker 2:

I was like this is unbelievable. But yeah, gran Mono, make it real. And yeah, so they make it real. And yeah, they play it. So the first stage, yeah, you do, so that's described, all the bar, so that's it. It's bigger, it's like a warehouse, it's really big. And then you ask, you order your food I was in the first stage and then you're eating, sit down. You can sit down on the on the beer garden and eating there. And that's what I call the first stage.

Speaker 2:

Then you start, you go into the second stage as people start drinking, more drinking. And it's funny in the second stage because you can, if you, if you sober, you can see all the stages and the people start getting more like, let's say, more friendly, more open, more open to, more open to, you know, to talk. They start, you know, they became more. And then, if you go to the toilet, this things start happening in the toilets. Right, like you know, they get more alcohol here and that you says, you know, people start getting more messy, like living rubbish. And it's funny because, because I'm sober, like you know, I just go in there to the toilet and I wash my hands and I'm the only one doing the washing. Feel free, like I don't know, like, like. Sometimes I feel like an idiot, like washing my hands and no one is washing their hands. But I'm washing my hands and using the dryer and I just, I know it's like no one cares about I'm gonna wash their hands.

Speaker 2:

They just go in and out. And yeah, then the last time there was a guy doing the line and I think they were pretending to puke, you know, and the guy, because there was another guy using the bar, the you know the bathroom, which is gonna say they told it. And then the other guy to start like, and I was like, oh, my God, I need to, you know, I need to escape from here. Yeah, I was thinking right, and the guy was like, and the other guy. The other guy was like, oh, he's gonna do it. No, not on the ground. And I thought that these three blocks never playing, playing with, just to make the other guy to, you know, to come out of the toilet quick, because the other guy was totally fine. I think, yeah, that's the toilet. I don't know if you guys have like toilet stories, I think you should, or you must have more than me. So you're more than welcome to remember those toilet stories. And that's in the, in the second, in the stage two. Now let's jump to stage three and hold on. Let's think about a stage three, stage three, all right, in the stage two, three, you get the chance to start.

Speaker 2:

People looks different, the faces and stuff. Have a look and think about it and they're more, you know, more alcohol on their blood system. So alcohol was a thing that it was invented to as an anesthetic. So it just basically depressed your, like, your nervous system, and in the past that was the you know. That's why alcohol was invented as an anesthetic. So, basically, it just can make you numb and you don't remember anything, and that's why, sometimes, when you have too much, you don't remember anything. The other day, however, it was replaced for another stuff because the secondary effects were, like, really not good at all. So that's why. So yeah, imagine like everyone is getting ready for to get a procedure, so yeah, and yeah, things start looking different, like two, like way different. But it's where the fun starts, I think.

Speaker 2:

In stage three, everyone's more chatting, they start talking. Let's start hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. And I think that's the best. So that's why in South America people go light, like light art, let's say um 12, 11, whereas in australia you guys are early birds. Here I early bird, I really early, like 2 pm, for instance, or even early. So at 9 pm everyone is starting stage five, stage six, I don't know, like, the other day I saw these guys they were taking, and they were taking the wrong Uber, like the wrong car, the wrong vehicle. The guys were like, oh guys, you guys taking the wrong Uber. That was funny. That's. That's stage three. Like the fun starts right. Stage four yeah, it's time to go home, I think for me. You know, I never passed from the stage four when I when I used to drink. Now it's good because I can see all the stages and still having fun right outside. I had so much fun.

Speaker 2:

Actually, last time I went outside and I'm gonna tell this story I was supporting the dj, dj traction. This is where he's. That guy was very good and really like that, he's style, excellent, I guess. A nice story because his wife is also a dj, alice. He introduced me with his wife, alist, alice, alice music you can find them both. And then on there is traction with x traction on instagram. They're great. I haven't seen alice like, I haven't listened to her style, but traction is excellent. And so I was there supporting him.

Speaker 2:

And then, guy, he went like hey, and same as the other day, he went like hey, what's your name? And I went like oh, my name is george and like, okay, um, you've been. So you, you stay here, like most of the people, they just going in and out, but you stay here. So I really, they really appreciate that. You know, like because in the big god, in the beer god, and there's like less people in there, but I stay there and I was like what sometimes I believe, like because I go out by myself, which is a thing as well and I don't, I don't care, but sometimes I had was security gods start looking me like, oh, what's this guy doing?

Speaker 2:

you know, like you know, I don't, I don't know. If that's suspicious, you guys let me know. Like just the guy waiting there, no one's coming with him.

Speaker 2:

You know what I mean like just let me know, guys, is I don't think I'm suspicious, but probably a security? God says like, looking at me, like, uh, this guy, you know what is he, this guy doing here? You know, like no one is with with that guy, and so I make friends with the djs and then traction was good, I'm way good, so, um, and then, and I never, this one never happens to me, never the guy, he, um, he is that offered me drinks and we're like wow, so often the drinks.

Speaker 2:

He gave me like a drink card that was a black car card and he gave me this, this drink, and I went like with a, with a little thing my hand, I was so proud and I went to the bar and I just can you give me this? I just ordered these non-alcohol beers. I need to explain myself. I do times because I've, if I said, if I said can you please give me a beer, they just gave me the like a regular now I was like no beer, zero.

Speaker 2:

Like, please, zero alcohol. No, no alcohol. In the staff side it's really like oh, you want an sbl or this one. Like you want a laga, you want to know? I want, I'll try the laga, let's just give me the laga. And yeah, and he gave me two, not just one two, and I was talking with someone. I said, like look, this never happens to me because back in the days they say, back when I, when I used to go out more frequently right now I don't go out, but when I used to, and now starting, you know, I really like to go out and now I enjoyed it more because I don't drink. I think for me it's better.

Speaker 2:

I don't know, I respect all the people who drink. I respect all these people and I can, you know, I was one of the. I was one of them before, but not right now. I don't drink and I'm happy. But this is the funny thing, like when I used to go out, but more frequent, I used to gave the dj rewards. Like no reward, no money, but like maybe offer a he, you know her a drink back in the days I you're doing so great, and let's talk to the barman, like to the barman and you just give, gave him a drink. The guy's doing great. What are you drinking? No, I'm drinking vodka, vodka. I'm drinking um whiskey. So I'll grab a whiskey for you know, and I'll grab a whiskey and there you go. I used to do that, but now these days it happens the other way around and the dj was giving me drinks to me and was like what? That's great. I really like brand. I think his name is brandon or brandon I couldn't, I couldn't remember that a good memory.

Speaker 2:

But you know it's his noise and stuff. And then something happened with the english. Like with the english names, sometimes the spelling, you don't know how to you know the correct spelling unless you go with one. My name is joe. We can be joe j? O or joe j o e joe how can you make the difference? Or bread my name is bread, but can be b? R e t right or b? R e t t. And then you know, and son, son, you know, and I go like, ah, if I tell my name is Spanish, everyone's gonna like crazy. So I just keep it in like george, easy. And then, yeah, I just get these drinks. Um, not for free, nothing's free.

Speaker 2:

I was there supporting him and yeah, I'm not keep, I'm just gonna keep doing that. Uh, actually gonna be there on the 17th, because on the 16th we got this new project, but I'm going out as well on the 16th, so I'm staging probably, hola, how holy they're gonna have the on the 16th. They're gonna have. Oh, I'm gonna make. Uh, you know, I think I I don't work from hola or hola guys, no, I just like that place. And yeah, I don't know if I'm on the on the 16th. They have, um, of course they're gonna have the dance floor I think it's the name of the of the people on the big garden, but they have these um, they like a techno, like a techno, um stuff on on the main main stage. So for me, the techno is I can't digest, so I need, uh, electronic music. For me has to be like at least 125 bpm, which is not quick, not too quick, not too slow, but I'll I really liked when it's uh, 100, 110 bpm, even less. But yeah, this is a different podcast about bpm's beats per minute. Is bpm beats per minute? Is that's the acronym, acronym of the of the show, bpm beats per minute, uh, so yeah, that was my experience in a bar Without alcohol.

Speaker 2:

Just Looking at the different stage. I don't know how many stages, I just created Three or four. It could be more. Right, you can do pre-party at home with drinks, mate, and then go to your favorite pub drink, but guys just keep going outside. I think it's the best.

Speaker 2:

I don't know if I was laughing, I was criticizing, I didn't want to do anything, any of those things. I just gonna say like, like everything in the real world Is outside of your home, of your houses, of your funds. Get out, mate friends, talk with a stranger. That's what I do. I talk with strangers Make me feel alive. Probably it could be one of those strangers. Yeah, talk with a stranger, don't be afraid. Okay, that's a human thing. Talking with everyone, you know, that makes me feel alive, really, really, really. And that's the end of this episode.

Speaker 2:

Remember, on Wednesday I'm going to release an episode. It's gonna be short, I'm gonna try to make it long, but it's like 8 minutes Is how I met the guy who is gonna start the project on Saturday. Saturday we gonna have my episode. It's gonna be live on YouTube. Youtube, it's a big platform, a big word as well for me. I'm getting ready for that. And yeah, sunday will be a whole. I don't know if it's Saturday, but yeah, probably not I don't know. Probably, yes, and yeah, saturday. Sunday we gonna have Look From the UK. Dj from the UK, very nice, look 1, I think is the name of the guy Is coming to Melbourne On the 17th. So Sunday is Sunday 2pm. Oh, I don't know, I'm looking like a Just promoting all these events, but yeah, it's good.

Speaker 2:

Yeah it's good to have you around. If you're outside there, just wave and George and your host and this is this is my shout. I'm velling it Today. We are velling it the night Night. Or have you ever have a night without alcohol? What was it you have? Maybe you took a medicine, maybe Maybe you you took a medicine, you an antibiotic and you couldn't drink. But was it and how was it? Make those questions to you and Did you have fun? Is the big question, because I did and I'm gonna still do it. Guys, enjoy Good night, good day. Whatever you are In this moment, I'm just gonna leave you with this. I haven't named this song, I'm just gonna be my outro. Whatever, enjoy, guys. See you next time, see you on Wednesday.
